You own the content you create on Mage, and Mage’s Terms and Conditions say you are free to use images from Mage for anything, including commercial purposes. That applies on every plan, including Free, with no revenue threshold above which the terms change.
This page describes the rights Mage grants you. It is not legal advice, and it does not override the rules of whatever platform you sell on.

What commercial use covers

  • Selling images or video you generated, as digital files or physical prints
  • Client and freelance work
  • Your own marketing, product pages, ads, and social content
  • Print-on-demand products, book covers, and illustration
  • Paid commissions
  • Content you monetize on a platform that allows AI-generated media

The exceptions worth knowing

  • Models run by their lab. GPT Image 2, Grok, Nano Banana 2, and Veo are run by OpenAI, xAI, and Google, and their terms apply to the output alongside Mage’s.
  • Models you import yourself, which arrive with whatever license their author attached.
  • Audio you supply. Mage’s grant covers what you generate, not a music track you did not license.

What is not permitted

Usage rights do not extend past Mage’s content rules. Generating a real person’s likeness without their consent, or anything covered on what you can and cannot create, is not permitted commercially or otherwise. The Terms and Conditions on mage.space are the full statement of the rules.

Selling on a specific platform

Mage grants you the rights. The platform you sell on sets its own rules about AI-generated media, usually about disclosure. Check the terms of the marketplace, storefront, or stock library before you list AI-generated work.
