Mage Social is the public side of Mage: a feed of creations people have chosen to post, plus Character pages, a leaderboard, and Messages. Nothing of yours appears there unless you post it.

What posting does

Posting a creation makes that creation, and its prompt, visible in the feed. It does not make your account’s other work visible, and it does not change the default for future generations.

What publishing a Character does

You can publish a Character with a description and tags, which gives it a page and makes it eligible for the leaderboard. That publishes the character itself. Your generations with it stay in your account.

Mature Mode

The Mature Mode switch under Content in Settings sets what can be shown to you, in your own results and in the feed. It does not change what is permitted on Mage. The public feed carries its own standard, set in the Terms and Conditions.

Other social features

Reporting

Anything in the feed can be reported. See likeness, consent, and reported content.

Staying entirely private

Do not post, and do not publish Characters. There is no setting to change, because private is already the default. See why Mage is private by default.
