Mango is Mage’s image model family for character work, scene merging, and editing. Mango 3 is the current model. Older versions stay available, so a workflow tuned against one of them keeps working.

Overview

Unlimited generation by plan

Which plan runs each resolution unlimited, at the model’s base settings. Gems means that setting always costs Gems on that plan. Add-ons such as LoRAs, ControlNet, extra reference images, or reference videos may raise a run’s price and move it to a higher plan or to Gems.

What it supports on Mage

Best for

  • The same face across a set of images, using Characters
  • Combining elements from several images into one scene
  • Editing part of an image while the rest stays put
  • Prompts with exact instructions that have to land

Limitations

  • Mango has no negative prompt field. If you need to exclude something specific, use Guava, which does.
  • Mango 3 tops out at 2K. Mango 3S reaches 3K and Mango 2 reaches 4K, both on Pro Plus and above, and the Image Enhancer app upscales any output afterwards.
  • Characters work on Mango 2, Mango 3S, and Mango 3, not on the original Mango. Moodboards work on Mango 2.
