Edit any video with a prompt and reference images. Describe the change and it is applied across every frame while preserving the original motion and composition. It runs on Berry, the Cherry line, Grok Video, Lemon, Plum, or Plum Max.

Overview

What Video Editor is for

  • Changing the look of a clip you already have
  • Applying a style or a subject across footage
  • Editing without a timeline

How to use Video Editor

  1. Open Video Editor and upload your video.
  2. Attach reference images if the change involves a specific subject, object, or look.
  3. Describe the change.
  4. Generate. Watch the whole clip back rather than judging on a frame.

Limitations

  • Grok Video is run by xAI and carries xAI’s content filter, which Mage cannot override.
  • Prompt-based editing is not as precise as a timeline. For an exact cut or a specific frame range, generate the shot rather than editing it.
