# Plum and Plum Max

> Plum is Mage's full-feature video model with generated audio on every clip. Plum Max is the faster variant that starts unlimited on Pro Plus. Plans, resolutions, durations, and feature support.

Plum is Mage's full-feature video model. It takes Characters, References, Character Voices, audio and video references, and First and Last Frames, and it generates audio on every clip. Plum Max is the faster, lower-cost variant and the one that runs unlimited from Pro Plus.

## Unlimited generation by plan

The longest clip that runs unlimited at each resolution on each plan, at the model's base settings. Anything longer, or any resolution marked Gems, runs on Gems.

Add-ons such as LoRAs, ControlNet, extra reference images, or reference videos may raise a run's price and move it to a higher plan or to Gems.

## Best for

* A planned shot where the subject, the framing, and the sound are all specified
* Character dialogue in video
* Motion at 2K, which Plum reaches

## Limitations

* Plum itself runs unlimited only on Max. Plum Max is the route on Pro Plus, at 480p.
* Frame mode and reference mode are separate on this model: one generation uses a first or last frame, or Characters and References, not both.
* On Plum Max a last frame must be paired with a first frame.
* Anything up to 15 seconds runs on Gems once you pass your plan's ceiling.
